Inaugural Anthony Hales Sr. Scholarship for Leadership Winners Announced

The Anthony Hales Sr. Scholarship for Leadership Committee & Hales Creative Solutions are pleased to announce the winners of the inaugural Anthony Hales Sr. Scholarship for Leadership.  The 2016 winners of the Anthony Hales Sr. Scholarship for Leadership are Ms. Kymberly Mitchell from Poplarville High School in Poplarville, MS and Ms. Lauren Walker from Picayune Memorial High School in Picayune, MS.

Ms. Walker is a member of the Picayune Memorial High School Lady Tide softball team, student council, Beta Club and the National Honor Society. She plans to attend Pearl River Community College in the fall and study Dental Hygiene.

Ms. Mitchell is a member of the Beta Club and HOSA-Future Health Professionals. She plans to attend either Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College or William Carey University in the fall and study Nursing.

The Anthony Hales Sr. Scholarship for leadership is open to graduating seniors from a high school in Pearl River County, Mississippi. Candidates are required to have a 3.0 GPA at the time of submission, as well submit an essay about why they consider their selves to be a leader.
